In 1939, children in Denmark would play Brits/French/Germans vs. Soviets as their version of police vs. robbers. After the Nazi invasion in April 1940, this changed to Brits/French/Soviets vs. Germans. Are there other examples of the "belligerents" changing like this in children's war games?
